Taking on the role of CEO in a family-owned company is both a privilege and a responsibility. There is a strong foundation to build on, created over many decades together with our customers, employees and partners.
As we now look towards the next chapter, one thing will remain at the heart of everything we do: creating value for our customers.
“Our ambition is clear: to build the Best in class customer experience and aiming to become the preferred strategic partner for our customers.”
Our ambition is clear. We are building the Best in class customer experience and aiming to become the preferred strategic partner for our customers. By understanding their businesses, anticipating change and continuously developing our capabilities, we can create more value throughout the partnership. This is also the foundation for our sustainable growth.
Growing together with our customers
We see significant opportunities ahead, within our existing customer relationships as well as in new markets and with new customers. But growth is not a goal in itself. Sustainable growth comes from creating more value for our customers and being able to support their businesses as requirements and markets evolve.
The market around us is changing. Increasing sustainability and regulatory requirements, the need for more resilient supply chains and rapid technological development are reshaping how products are designed, manufactured and delivered. We want to help our customers navigate this change, by understanding what it means for their businesses, anticipating what comes next and developing solutions together.
This requires us to understand not only what our customers need today, but where their businesses and markets are heading. The better we understand what lies ahead, the better we can develop our expertise, services and capabilities to create value in the future. These changes affect not only our customers, but also the broader network of stakeholders across the value chain.
Best in class customer experience
Customer experience is much more than delivering the right product at the right time. It is the sum of every interaction and every opportunity to create value throughout the partnership.
In practice, this means being easy to reach, reliable and proactive – from the first discussion and development work to production, deliveries and continuous improvement. Being a strategic partner also means bringing expertise to the table, identifying opportunities and solving problems before they become problems.
Our presence in Finland, the Czech Republic and Germany gives us a strong foundation to stay close to our customers across Europe. We will continue to strengthen our international presence where it allows us to create more value, combining local customer understanding with the expertise and capabilities of the whole company.
International growth is therefore not only about entering new markets. It is about being closer to our customers and supporting them wherever our expertise can make a difference.
Investing where it creates customer value
Our future investments are guided by the same customer perspective. Above all, we will continue to invest systematically in people, expertise and capabilities. As your requirements evolve, our capabilities need to evolve with them – and preferably be ready before the need arises.
We are also continuing our investments in production capacity and technology. The purpose is not simply to increase capacity or introduce new technology. What matters is what these investments enable for you: better solutions, greater flexibility, reliable deliveries and the capacity to support our customers as they grow and evolve.
“We develop our capabilities today so that you can rely on us tomorrow.”
This is what long-term partnership means to us. We develop our capabilities today so that you can rely on us tomorrow.
Building towards 2035
As we build our strategy towards 2035, we are looking closely at how our customers’ and stakeholders’ expectations, markets and technologies will evolve. We are considering what that means for the way we create value and build the Best in class customer experience in the future.
That question will guide how we develop our expertise, where we invest, how we strengthen our international presence, and which new capabilities we build. I believe a Finnish family-owned company can have an impact far beyond its size on international markets. Our size allows us to remain agile and close to our customers, while our growing international capabilities enable us to support them across markets. We will continue to grow our international presence in Europe and in markets where being closer to our customers allows us to create clear additional value.
The change in leadership does not change what has always been important to us: long-term relationships, reliability and commitment to our customers. What changes is the ambition to build on those strengths even more systematically and to look further ahead.
Our next phase will be about listening, learning, investing and growing together. The direction is clear: building the Best in class customer experience, strengthening our international capabilities and creating lasting value for our stakeholders, today and in the future.
